The Artist

 

Prior to launching her jewellery range, Jodi Rose (formerly Jodi Wintz), had a distinguished career as a ballerina, choreographer, creative director and private coach to the stars. An accomplished artist, she performed with the Joffrey Ballet Company in New York during the magic dance era of the 70's. In addition to working with the Joffrey, she received critical acclaim while touring as a guest artist in such traditional ballets as The Nutcracker, Coppelia, Sleeping Beauty and Serenade. A further highlight was being selected to dance with the Bolshoi Ballet and Margot Fonteyn.

Jodi's wide exposure to the U.S. fashion industry began with her grandfather, a jeweller in New York, who inspired her to study the art of jewellery design. She gradually refined her craft which became fused with the creative expression that took her to the heights of the ballet world. Today Roselight Designs has established a presence in more than 50 boutiques both local and international. Jodi is married to Australian swimming legend, Murray Rose.
